"As an applied mathematician and a lead data scientist, I have more than 10 years of experience of teaching and tutoring mathematics to college students and 10+ years of industry experience.

I received a Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics in 2013 and have instructed on a wide range of mathematical courses in various branches of mathematics including Calculus I,II, Multivariable Calculus (Calculus 3), Advanced Calculus (Calculus 4), Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Discrete Mathematics, and Probability for the college students as a lecturer and as a private instructor. I also have taught pre-calculus, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and elementary level math to the secondary school students. Additionally, I am teaching and helping motivated high school and middle school students to prepare for the mathematical summer camps and competition style mathematics including America Mathematical Competitions (AMC), Math League Contest, MATHCOUNTS competitions.

I always say that mathematics is an art form. Contrary to popular belief, mathematics can be one of the most creative scientific disciplines. My teaching philosophy emphasizes on providing students with a strong fundamental understanding of mathematics and giving them a considerable degree of freedom. Ultimately there may be only one correct answer to a problem, yet there are many different ways to derive that answer. That is where the fundamentals and artistic elements of mathematics come to play. Mathematics is the language of nature. It has the ability to transform students in their way of thought, who practice free and rational thinking rather than simply memorizing equations and statements.
