"My professional background is second to none. I have a PhD in early American Intellectual History from the University of Nevada, an MA in 20th century Cultural History from Rutgers University, and a BA in American History from Columbia University. I taught at the college level as an assistant professor for 5 years, but have been teaching at the high school level since 2015. I have been published in peer reviewed academic journals such as the Journal of History and Cultures and American Catholic Studies, among others. I have held fellowships and lectured at Stanford, Brown, and Berkeley, among other schools.

Most importantly, I am in my 9th year of employment with the College Board and am a certified Reader and Grader for the AP United States History (APUSH) and AP United States Government and Politics (APGOV) examinations.
