"Hi,

I was born in Puerto Rico, the Isle of Enchantment but my parents moved to New York when I was seven years old. I love Puerto Rico and return there often, at least 2 times a year, Christmas and summer. However, now I reside in Pennsylvania where I teach French and Spanish at California University of PA. I have been working here for about 18 years and look forward to working for another 10 years or so before I retire.

I earned 2 degrees one in Spanish from Middlebury College in Vermont. Middlebury College is very well-known for their language schools. Middlebury has a very famous English writing program, too. I also received a degree in French from UCLA, another known school in the US. I love French and Spanish and I'm very competent in both. I guess I could say I'm trilingual. I try to stay up with my languages by reading a lot in all three and also traveling frequently to Puerto Rico, France, and Spain.

I have a Ph.D. in French Language & Culture from UCLA. I 20 years teaching experience WITH 2-3 years tutoring experience.
