"I have been a teacher for 20 years. I have learned a second language and studied out of the USA. I have taught English as a Second Language and took the TSOL test as part of my studies in a French speaking area.

I also worked for Fortune 500 companies in international business. I understand world cultures and, therefore, am sensitive to people learning a language that is not their native language.

I use a variety of methods to keep the student engaged and to keep learning fun. I have great interpersonal skills, and the ability to access weaknesses and strenths in the student's learning process. I also take into consideration that each student has a different type of learning method that is best suited for them (audio, visual, writing, repitition, etc.) I try to tailor lessons to the student's abilility to learn.
