"Hi, I'm Joe a recent graduate from Robert E. Fitch High School and am currently attending Three Rivers Community College with plans to move on to Central Connecticut State University to gain my Bachelor's Degree in Technology Education hoping to land in a high school setting.

During my time at Fitch High School, I became enrolled as a sophomore out of pure interest in the Architecture course offered and slowly became infatuated with the workings that went into properly designing a house in Revit. From here, I continued in this class ultimately realizing my potential as a teacher when the teacher of the class had an accident and was out of school for several months. During this time as a Junior in a class of around 15 other high schoolers I took the reins of the class in a non administrative way. Through emails I assisted our teacher with preparing a final exam for the class to take as he was out of school for that time.

I continued with this class as I went into my Senior year, and at this point the guidance department had to sculpt a new class level for me seeing as I had surpassed the Architecture 1 course and the lesser known Architecture 2 course and still wanted more. With the help of my teacher, I was put in charge of drawing plans for a greenhouse which has been approved by the Town of Groton and will begin construction this year (2016).

As both a Junior and Senior, I was acknowledged as a Student of the Month in the Technology field, and in my Senior year I was presented a certificate of excellence in Architecture after three years of excelling in the same course. In my senior year, I was also certified by Autodesk as a Sustainable Design Expert.

During my first semester of schooling at Three Rivers, I was enrolled in the AutoCAD course they offer and immediately grasped concepts of the workings of the program, and too have excelled in this course.
