"I'm Tianyi! Feel free to call me Johnny instead. I graduated with a Japanese language and literature BA degree. I took my primary school in Japan so I have started to learn and speak Japanese since I was very little and gained a high appreciation for Japanese culture. I have huge passion to share my learning experience with those who are interested in Japanese and language enthusiast! I am a multicultural person basically since I like to speak with people from different countries.

As for my tutoring approach, I would prioritize student's need at the first place. No matter what kind of level you are at I would be flexible to adjust the topic into the way that you feel comfortable. Language learning is extremely different from many other academic topics. If you don't use it you are losing it! For that reason, I would encourage the student to speak their Japanese in confidence! Afterwards, I would use some practices which may include basic vocab quiz, conversational phrase session to make sure the student has master the topic themselves.
