"I have performed and taught on the double bass in Illinois for several decades. My musical travels have taken me as far away as Japan, Germany, New Zealand, and Kenya.

My teaching has seen me work effectively with very young beginners, hundreds of middle- and high school age students, college level, and adult beginners.

My former students can be found performing with such elite classical ensembles as the Chicago Symphony and the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and touring with professional jazz groups.

Equally at home with classical, jazz, and folk styles, I am eager to help any student!

My real focus is the Double Bass, but academic studies and real-life experience, especially with jazz harmony, makes me well-versed at almost all aspects of Music Theory.
