"I am a passionate and results-driven educator with a B.A. in English (cum laude) and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. Early in my teaching career, I realized that students learn best when they are engaged and connected to what they’re learning. When lessons are relevant and meaningful, students become more invested and confident in their skills. That’s why I focus on teaching in a way that makes sense to them, showing how reading, writing, and communication skills are important in everyday life.

With five years of experience as a certified English teacher for grades 6-8, I specialize in meeting students where they are and building them up with the right strategies to help them succeed. Over the past year, I’ve also led after-school tutoring sessions, providing one-on-one and small group support based on each student’s academic needs. I always go above and beyond to make sure my students have every opportunity to understand, grow, and feel confident in their abilities.

Beyond the classroom, I own Rigorously Fun Teaching, where I create engaging educational resources that make learning both rigorous and enjoyable.
