"Hello! I'm passionate about helping students unlock their potential in mathematics. I have a doctorate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and did my undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Penn State. But truth be told, math was always my favorite subject!

During my time in college, I tutored math for three years and was honored to receive an Outstanding Tutor Award from Penn State, recognizing my dedication to student success and effective teaching methods. Most of my tutoring was one-on-one, but I've also worked with small groups (especially during test time!).

I believe what makes my methods outstanding are my patient approach and focus on the fundamental concepts. I take the time to understand your unique learning style and pace, and I break down complex concepts into manageable steps. I focus on building confidence alongside competence, ensuring you not only understand the material but feel empowered to tackle new challenges independently.

I've successfully tutored students across many skill levels including those struggling with basic concepts to advanced students preparing for challenging exams. I've helped people with high school level math such as pre-algebra and algebra, all the way up to higher levels of college calculus. Recently, I've also done some volunteer work in Pittsburgh at a men's long-term shelter helping to teach basic math concepts. I think it's always important to give back, and I love seeing what gaining a deeper understanding of math can do for a person.
