I am excited to have the opportunity to help you with your economics course! I am an award - winning educator, holding a PhD (from Auburn), MS (Oklahoma State), and BA (Framingham State) in economics. I have over 30 years of experience teaching microeconomics at the undergraduate and MBA levels at an ACC university, as well as serving as a tutor for student-athletes at the university level. If I have the opportunity to work with you, we will discuss real world applications that are relevant to your life to help you understand the concepts you are learning. We will also practice problems and graphs together so that you can see how things work and I can help you identify any areas where you might not be understanding things quite right. If there are questions about content, I can teach the theories to you and help you find ways to understand and remember the theories through practice and applications. These are the same approaches I use with my own students and they are able to quickly gain a better understanding and I know that you will too!

I have primarily worked with college students but have worked a bit with high school students too. You can look me up online to find some reviews from students and you will see that I am responsive, down to earth, and really want you to succeed! My students have voted me as a faculty favorite for many years now, and I was a Top 4 faculty favorite by student vote across the university about five years ago! This is all because I like to work with my students and help make an often scary subject much less intimidating and easier to understand.
