"I love teaching physics and was fortunate to have done so for over 20 years. This includes academic physics, AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics C and college physics. I started the physics program at Dawson High School in Pearland, which gave me the opportunity to shape the way physics is taught at Pearland ISD, with an emphasis on conceptual understanding rather than just rote memorization. I was recognized as the Region IV (Houston area) Teacher of the Year in 2015. Now that I have retired from teaching, I'm ready to help you or your child achieve greater success in physics.

Here is some background information about me. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Texas, 1983. I was a Marine Corps intelligence officer for 4 years. After leaving the Marines, I studied physics as a graduate student at Rice University in 1987.
