"I’m a certified, award-winning teacher with over a decade of experience helping students succeed—from elementary math to GED prep. I hold a Master’s in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a minor in Middle School English. In 2017, I was honored as Teacher of the Year for my creative, student-centered approach and ability to connect with learners of all levels.

Currently, I teach in a juvenile corrections education setting where I help high school youth earn their diplomas and GEDs. Many of my students have struggled in traditional classrooms, and I specialize in turning frustration into progress. I hold the highest GED test passing rate in my program—a result of patient, practical instruction that meets students where they are and builds skills that stick.

My strengths include breaking down elementary math for students with learning challenges, making middle school science meaningful and hands-on, and guiding GED students through reading, writing, math, science, and social studies with confidence. I’m passionate about helping students build both skills and self-belief.

I’m currently offering tutoring services to help cover my children’s medical expenses, and I’m available during afternoon and evening hours as well as weekends. I ask for a minimum of 4 hours’ notice for cancellations so I can adjust accordingly.
