"Hello! My name is Kya! I am just graduated (Spring, 2025) with a BS. in Neuroscience and a minor in Health and Medical Sciences at Georgia Institute of Technology. I have been tutoring on WyzAnt for almost 5 years, and most of my students have been with me during that entire duration. I absolutely love tutoring and making a difference in student's lives.

I have much experience tutoring students in all subjects and am able to help your child grasp and understand the content material. I also provide feedback for your child to master the content. My lessons are taught in a positive manner and are educational and enjoyable sessions. In the learning process, I help build a child's self-confidence and self-esteem! These are also important in a learning situation!

I also plan lessons with grammar and math topics for elementary students to develop deeper understanding in their current learning and extend their learning beyond the surface of subjects. (ie. breaking a sentence down from subject and predicate to simple and complete subject and predicate).

I have won awards in each subject that I tutor (math, English Language Arts) these awards include 2nd highest Math average in all of elementary school, 3rd place highest ELA average I primarily focus on tutoring elementary and middle school students in Math, English writing and grammar. My goal is for your child to succeed in and outside of the school year!
