"Hi! I'm a recent math Ph.D. graduate and awarded teacher who is passionate about helping students succeed. I spent the last five years teaching Algebra, Precalculus, Geometry, and Calculus at Western Michigan University and I have enjoyed tutoring for over ten years! I recently moved to Largo and I'm excited to start helping new students achieve their goals. I tutor most math subjects in person or online.

I believe that anyone can learn math with the right attitude, effort, and assistance. My tutoring practices are based on the latest research on how students learn best. That is, I get to know each student as a learner and a person so that I can create a customized plan for success and make our sessions engaging and memorable. I have attended bi-weekly training for the last five years on how teach math to maximize retention. I even earned several awards such as the Charles Butler Award of Teaching Excellence, HHMI Stipend, and WMU Signature Teaching and Student Success.

I absolutely love what I do and care about making student aspirations into reality. One of my specialties is working with gifted students.
