"Hi, I’m Val I’m a recent graduate of Bucknell University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in Neuropsychology, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During my time at Bucknell, I was honored to be consistently recognized on the Dean’s List and inducted into the Phi Sigma Biological Sciences Honor Society. I’ve always had a passion for learning—and just as importantly, for helping others learn in ways that make them feel confident and supported.

Additionally, I served as a Teaching Assistant in the Bucknell University Department of Biology, where I spent two years working closely with college students in both lecture and lab-based courses. I supported Integrated Biology I and II and Biology for Non-Majors, where I guided students through lab work, clarified complex topics, and provided individualized coaching to help them succeed. Whether we were reviewing assignments or preparing for exams, I focused on making biology feel less intimidating and more relatable.

My approach is calm, friendly, and flexible. I believe that the best learning happens in a supportive space where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
