"Heading back into the classroom, and needing some support, so your child ends the year strong? Is your child struggling with comprehension? Are tests difficult for your child? I would love to have the opportunity to work with your family to assist in keeping your child on the right track, reinforcing specific skills, building confidence and teaching your child to be an active and attentive learner. I am sure you have seen your child when he/she is learning something new and they look up at you and in an excited way say, "I've got it!" Those moments happen once for each tiny step that they take, and there isn't anything that can change that moment and their excitement when they get it. Let's keep that going and keep them excited about learning!

I am currently a first grade teacher and have taught multiple grade levels (K, 1, 2, 3, and gifted education 4-6). I currently have my CLAD certificate and have been working with second language children for all 22 years of my career. I have also worked with children with special needs with different ranges of autism and other needs. I have received a certificate in Gifted Education. I have taken over 6 specified courses within the Common Core Curriculum. I also teach strategies on mindful learning, and opportunities to work in their own creative space. Those "I've got it" moments are precious! Then when your child gets stuck or is having a difficult time understanding something, we want to help--we don't want them to struggle. So I am here to help your family make those evenings a little more peaceful and with more engaged learning. I would love to work with your family and see those happy faces when they finally say, "I've got it!"
