"I like helping others see how math and computer science fit together in the real world. After more than 30 years as an engineer with two advanced degrees, I became a high school math teacher and taught in Fairfax County for seven years. I’m licensed to teach math in Virginia and have taught everything from Algebra to Calculus. I also spent time as a regular substitute at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST), working with students on advanced math and programming topics. That mix of engineering and teaching experience lets me make lessons practical, clear, and connected to everyday problem-solving.
