"Hi, I'm Aya, a vocalist, pianist, and composer. I hold a B.F.A in Jazz Vocal Performance with Degree Honors Magna Cum Laude from CUNY City College. With over 10 years of experience in performing and studio recording, I have also produced an album and toured in Japan, Taiwan, and France with my band.

While I'm active as a performer and composer, I have a strong passion for teaching. I have been teaching voice and piano for more than 7 years, catering to students ranging from 4 years old to teenagers and adults. When working with children, I focus on encouraging creativity, staying dedicated to practice, and having fun.

For my singing students, I firmly believe that a solid understanding of music in general enhances their singing abilities. Therefore, I incorporate rhythm exercises and basic music theory into my lessons. Also, I offer instruction in music theory, arrangements, and composition based on individual student needs. As a teacher, I warmly welcome beginners and strive to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment.
