"My name is Olga and I am an English/Russian and ESL Instructor.

My education, experience and personal interest have always been connected with teaching languages. I am a graduate of the Tver State University (Russia) and hold a Master’s degree in teaching English language and literature.

Languages have always been my forte. I not only can speak them, I also have a clear idea about their origins, phonetics, syntax, morphology and lexicology. I also studied psycholinguistics, psychology and pedagogy, and taught languages at all levels.

As a linguist, whose native language is not English, I understand the difficulties most foreigners encounter when learning English and I use special teaching strategies to combat them.

I gained my teaching experience both in Russia and the U.S.A. I’ve taught Academic Writing and Argumentation at West Texas A & M University in Canyon, TX and the Russian language and culture in Amarillo Community College.

I am confident that my knowledge and versatile experience will help you improve your writing and reading skills.
