I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Peking University and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education from Arizona State University. After completing my master’s program, I earned an Arizona state teaching certificate in secondary mathematics. I also participated in an academic exchange program in Germany, and I have worked as a professional translator, serving as the published translator of multiple academic books. Growing up in China and later living in the United States, I became fully bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English. This diverse academic, cultural, and professional background enables me to explain concepts from multiple perspectives and connect with students from various backgrounds.

I have taught and tutored mathematics and Mandarin Chinese to students ranging from elementary to high school levels. In math, I help students strengthen their foundation, improve problem-solving skills, and build confidence in areas such as algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. In Mandarin, I guide learners through speaking, listening, reading, and writing, adapting my lessons to each student’s goals—whether that’s academic achievement, travel, business, or cultural enrichment.

My teaching style is patient, structured, and encouraging. I use step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and interactive exercises to ensure students not only understand the material but can apply it confidently.
