"I am a bilingual medical doctor (MD), graduated in Cuba in 2013 and trained as a Specialist in Internal Medicine (2016) with a postgraduate diploma in Intensive Care & Emergency Medicine (2018). From 2018 I also served as an Instructor of Internal Medicine, teaching clinical reasoning and supervising residents, while working as Head of an Emergency Department until 2022. In the U.S., I have successfully passed USMLE Step 1 and achieved a Step 2 CK score of 256 (first attempt). I am currently in the process of completing ECFMG certification and preparing to begin residency training in the United States.

I have extensive teaching experience both in academic settings and at the bedside, where I guided medical students and young physicians. My bilingual ability (English and Spanish) allows me to support a diverse community of learners, including international medical graduates. I focus particularly on USMLE Step 2 CK, where clinical judgment, test-taking strategy, and time management are key. I incorporate active recall, spaced repetition, and question-based learning. Each session emphasizes how to deconstruct clinical vignettes, identify the key diagnostic or management step, and rule out distractors.
