"Hello! I'm Makoto, a medical student in the US with a Master of Public Health (MPH) background. As a second-generation Japanese American, I'm fluent in both English and Japanese, and I bring a deep understanding of the challenges that come with learning a new language or subject.

Over the past 6+ years, I've had the privilege of tutoring Japanese students from elementary to high school. My experience ranges from helping with homework across all subjects to preparing students for SAT and TOEFL exams. Additionally, I've taught Algebra 1 and 2 at a Japanese school, guiding small groups of students and tailoring lessons to their unique needs.

One thing I've learned through my years of teaching is that every student is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.
