"I am linguistically and culturally bilingual with Spanish as my 2nd language. I am a former Spanish teacher with previous teaching credentials in Caifornia and Pennsylvania. I have spent 8 years living and working overseas immersed in the Spanish language. Those years of international work also found me teaching English to our Spanish speaking employees.

Understanding, speaking and writing Spanish is extremely beneficial to the enhancement of language skills in general. Sequenced and structured practice is the key to the gradual assimilation and comprehension of a foreign language. It takes work, but it does not have to be cumbersome. Taking the student to the point were he/she is not afraid to use what they have learned is crucial to learning a language.
