"Hi! I’m Sanjna, a 4th-year medical student (D.O. candidate, Class of 2026) at PCOM. I help students turn overwhelming science into a clear, step-by-step plan so they feel confident and perform better on exams. I’m friendly and approachable, and I keep tutoring supportive, low-stress, and productive.
I graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in Biology and Psychology. I was selected by the Biology Department as a Biology Study Group Facilitator, where I led weekly in-person and online sessions focused on smarter study strategies, practice problems, diagrams/charts, and mock exam-style review. Students who attended consistently often improved by a full letter grade. I graduated Summa Cum Laude and made the Dean’s Honors List for 8 academic quarters. In medical school, I was also selected as a Peer Tutor based on a top-quartile preclinical GPA and have supported students across systems including anatomy, physiology, cardiology, and neurology.
I have passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 and COMLEX Level 1 and Level 2, and I enjoy helping students build strong foundations and test-taking confidence.
I tutor high school, college, and medical students in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Microbiology. I can also support standardized test science prep (MCAT Biology score: 130) and general science prep for exams like TEAS/HESI.
My teaching style is “basics first.” We build a simple concept map before memorization, then use active recall and targeted practice questions so you can apply concepts right away. I’m happy to help you create a realistic weekly study plan so you know exactly what to do between sessions.
Logistics: tutoring is online. I offer a brief intro chat to set goals and confirm fit. I appreciate 24-hour notice for rescheduling. If you message me your course name, next exam date, and what you’re struggling with most, we’ll make a plan!" less...
