"I have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and currently work as a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Neuroscience at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. I also teach advanced undergraduate courses in Biochemistry and Neuroscience as an Adjunct Faculty member at Southern Methodist University. Alongside my teaching roles, I enjoy helping students through various tutoring platforms, where I focus on making complex biochemistry topics easier to understand. I bring over 15 years of experience in both research and teaching in the fields of biochemistry, cell biology, neuroscience, and molecular biology.

My teaching approach is centered around helping students think critically and develop problem-solving skills. I like to ask challenging questions during class to get students engaged and thinking deeper about the material. Since everyone starts from a different point, I always begin with the basics and build up to more complex concepts, revisiting difficult topics as needed.
