"I earned my Master of Science degree in Biotechnology at New York University and Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Both my junior and senior years at Buffalo I tutored evolutionary biology, cell biology, molecular biology, developmental biology, genetics, and bioinformatics. As an undergraduate student I went to tutors myself and can definitely understand the frustration and difficulty involved when trying to pick up foreign concepts. Since textbooks can sometimes seem cryptic in nature, I try to relay information through previously learned concepts and ideas. When tutoring I emphasize using associations, acronyms, and various other memory tools to better retain large amounts of information.
