My experience includes College level biology TA, Ran a 2/week mentorship program for low-income high school students while in college which included tutoring (all students graduated high school and got into their Cal State, UC, or vocational careers of choice), 5+ years volunteer peer counselor at a free clinic, 15+ years of work experience in research, healthcare, and business operations.

I switched from pre-PhD to pre-dental several years ago. I was in the middle of dental school interviews when I got into an accident and became permanently disabled so I successfully leveraged my experience to shift careers.
