"I currently serve as Science teacher at Greater Lowell Technical High School and Community Education tutor for WestBorough school district. I earlier served as substitute teacher for WestBorough school district. I have experience teaching students from WestBorough, SouthBorough, Hopkinton and Shrewsbury school districts. I have dual Masters in Science Education from Western Michigan University, US and Masters in Environmental Biology from University of Rajasthan. I also have College board certification for AP Biology.

I feel that my dual background in science and science education along with my experience as a science teacher provides practical implications to guide my instruction.I like teaching because it is challenging and for the joyous moments it provides when the learning clicks and the student gains a new insight. I believe that teaching is developing a relationship with students and making them believe and empowering them to improve and develop their skills. This means engaging students in discussion in which multiple ideas and ways of thinking are explored and contrasted, and in which students articulate and explore their own thinking necessary in both science and math teaching.
