"I have a degree in Biology, master’s in Secondary education with an emphasis on Science education, and part of a master’s in Biology. I have been teaching Biology, AP Biology, Physical Science, and Anatomy and Physiology for 16 years to high school students. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in a research lab as a technician participating in and running my own investigations.

I have a student-centered approach to teaching and tutoring. I like to figure out my students' skillsets, strengths and opportunities for growth so I can tailor my lessons to best help the learner. I believe every student can learn at a high level and be successful if given the correct tools. I am friendly, student-centric, and excited to help my students achieve at high levels. My student-centered approach has been successful for me in my career as last year 93% of my students past the AP Biology Exam1/3 of which scored a 5 (the highest possible score) on the test.
