"A little about my work experience. For five years, I taught (in-person and online) high school biology and earth science, where I worked with all kinds of learners and found ways to make science more relatable to our daily lives. Whether it was breaking down tough concepts using different images and models, or showing how classroom lessons connect to the real world, my favorite part of teaching was watching students grow more confident in their understanding of the natural world.

I earned both a Bachelor's of Biology AND Science Education before teaching at both in-person and online high schools.

After teaching, I spent two years in sales, which gave me a deep dive into the corporate world and how it operates. That experience taught me how important it is to meet people where they are and how to creatively problem solve together—something I bring into every tutoring session.
