"Hi! I’m Sahil, I’m currently a student at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a major in Biological Sciences, with a minor in Chemistry and Economics, as well as a certificate in the Conceptual Foundations of Medicine.

Throughout high school and college, I’ve worked with over 100 students, ranging from 1st graders to high school seniors. In high school I helped organize peer-tutoring groups, which gave me experience working with students at many different academic levels and learning styles. These experiences taught me that effective tutoring isn’t about memorizing “stuff” for the next test — it’s about actually understanding the material so it sticks.

My goal as a tutor is to make concepts clear, approachable, and meaningful. I focus on breaking topics down step-by-step, encouraging questions, and building confidence along the way. I’m always happy to adjust my teaching style to each student’s individual needs, whether they prefer visuals, practice problems, or real-world examples.

I’m especially excited to help students in science and math, including subjects like biology, chemistry, and algebra.
