"Hi! I’m a certified Biology tutor (with certifications in Essay writing, Executive functioning, and Personal statement essays) with a strong background in scientific research, and I enjoy helping students understand biology while also building the skills they need to succeed independently. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biomolecular Science from the University of Michigan, where I received University Honors and graduated a semester early. During my time at UMich, I tutored advanced college-level Biology and Organic Chemistry II for three semesters and was selected as a Tutor Team Leader. I’ve worked one-on-one with over 35 students as well as in group, drop-in tutoring settings. I also have extensive research experience at the University of Michigan and the University of Pittsburgh. This background allows me to take a practical approach to STEM subjects, connecting concepts to real laboratory techniques and relevant clinical or pathological applications.
