"I am a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Biotechnology, and I currently work at a biotechnology company, where I continue to apply my academic training in a professional setting. My background includes a wide range of biology and chemistry courses; including microbiology, genetics, and immunology. I not only enjoyed my coursework, but graduated with Summa Cum Laude due to my hard work. I also passed AP Biology in high school. In addition, I completed an internship at an environmental monitoring company where I worked in their lab analyzing samples, and another research internship focused on coding genomes. These experiences not only strengthened my scientific knowledge but also helped me learn how to clearly explain complex biological processes in practical, real-world contexts. While I am new to formal tutoring, I have always been the type of person classmates and peers turn to when they need help understanding difficult material.

I am patient, supportive, and skilled at explaining concepts in different ways until they click. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach by using examples such as visuals, flashcards, and practice problems. My background in both academics and industry allows me to connect biology concepts to real-world applications in medicine, technology, and the environment. This helps to make lessons more engaging and memorable. I enjoy working with middle school and high school students; especially those in AP Biology.
