Education: I hold a PhD in Pathobiology (a research area focusing on the mechanisms of disease) from Brown University. Prior to my PhD, I graduated summa cum laude from the University at Buffalo Honors College with a B.S. in Biotechnology.

Teaching experience: During my time as a PhD student, I actively participated in various teaching and mentorship programs including Community STEM, Lumiere Education, the Leadership Alliance, and STEM to Stern. My primary areas of focus include teaching biology, research techniques, scientific communication (written and oral), and data analysis using programs such as Excel. Additionally, I served as a teaching assistant for a graduate-level course at Brown University. These experiences have enabled me to develop effective teaching methodologies adaptable to diverse student needs and have honed my scientific communication skills for various levels of understanding.
