"Hello, my name is Wayne. I first began tutoring while I was in college studying chemistry. I took a college level course in tutoring and tutored fellow college students in chemistry. I received an academic excellence award from the American Chemical Society as a sophomore. I hold a B.S. degree in Physical Science and a Professional Development Degree in Science and Education. I have experience as a classroom teacher for students of all ages, first grade to college freshmen to be precise. I was certified to teach 7th to 12th grade chemistry and physical science. I have also taught in elementary schools as a substitute, and especially enjoyed the 4th and 5th grades.

I love learning and love teaching. I believe in subject mastery for myself and my students. In addition to the sciences, I can tutor in math up to algebra, and even language arts depending on the particular need of the student.

I have been blinded by science and love to share my knowledge. I have work experience in the chemistry and pharmacy fields. This practical knowledge enables me to relate the topics I teach to real life situations.
