"I'm Dianna! I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a minor in Writing and Rhetoric Studies. I not only studied Psychology in school, I have worked in psychiatric facilities, research labs, and teaching psychology basics for a non-profit agency in my community. This means I not only understand the academic side of psychology, I also know how psychology functions in every day life on all levels. These experiences helped me understand psychology in ways that classroom learning only couldn't provide and I would love the share these experiences with you so that you can better understand the amazing, interesting, and ever developing world of psychology!

I introduce lessons in fun, innovative ways that include definitions, history, and real-life examples. My goal is to make learning fun and immersive but also informative and comprehensive. My favorite teachers were those who taught the material well but had fun while doing so. Those are the lessons that I remember best and how I find teaching works best for me. I have taught basic psychology to groups of people with varying levels of experience to a non-profit in my community that helps families navigate multiple agencies and systems. Helping them feel more confident interacting with these families was incredibly fulfilling and I found that I really enjoy teaching and sharing the knowledge that I have gained. I believe the best educators are the ones that keep learning so I welcome suggestions and resources students or parents can provide.
