"Hello all! I graduated summa cum laude, majoring in computer science and mathematics for my bachelors and also have my masters in computer science. I have a lot of experience tutoring various math subjects and age groups from the elementary to even the college level recently as an adjunct instructor. I have a lot of patience with students and help students form a fearless mentality toward their problems. I like to begin by discussing a lesson with a student verbally. Then, we work together through problems and the student can talk out their thought process with me. Questions can be packaged many ways, but I try to help students have a strong mathematical foundation on topics, so they are prepared for these multiple packages. I then test a student's foundation on a topic by asking them questions from these other packages. I also, like to show the relationship between past topics with current lessons to make sure old lessons have not been forgotten.

Generally, students who seek tutoring have a desire to learn and become better. And, that energy is great to be around, and I love being able to contribute to that. Also, I always learn more and strengthen my own knowledge about a topic when I'm helping students. The relationship is always mutualistic. At times, math can seem very abstract, and one of the most popular questions is: "When am I ever going to use this in real life?" I try to bridge this gap and provide practical examples. Additionally, improving one's logic process and mechanics is always helpful for everyday life.
