"As a tutor for over eight years, I have extensive experience mentoring and teaching students of all ages and levels. Instead of making students memorize formulas and plug-and-chug to get answers, I encourage them to understand the principles behind each problem. My favorite teaching moment is helping students create their own examples and analogies to achieve that "eureka" moment when everything clicks.

In May of 2020, I graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Sigma Xi from Brown University with degrees in Spanish and Chemistry. I'm a second-year medical student at UNC-Chapel Hill. I've conducted analytical chemistry research at UNC, interpreted at a healthcare clinic for Spanish-speaking patients, and written educational content for Wyzant and Rosetta Stone. I'm studying German and ASL in my free time.
