"I’m Dylan: educator, scientist, and lifelong voracious learner. I began tutoring high school students in 2018 while pursuing my career in life sciences. I have primarily worked as a private tutor as well as for a tutoring agency. I have also led college lab classes as a TA.

As a student, with the help of teachers and tutors, I learned how to develop successful strategies for learning and essential skill-building. Using these strategies, and many hours of hard work and practice, I was able to score in the 99th percentile on my SAT and attend Brown University, where I received a Bachelor’s in Biology (graduating with honors) and a Master’s in Biotechnology.

As a scientist, I learned how to take complex, difficult topics and present them in a comprehensible, enjoyable way.

As an educator, I combine these skills with many hours of teaching and tutoring experience to help students develop their own individually-tailored learning strategies and succeed at whatever they put their minds to.

Helping students build confidence in themselves is of the utmost importance to me. I always try to help students discover their own capabilities that will carry them through life long after our tutoring relationship has ended. I have helped students unlock their potential, reach or exceed their target scores and get into their preferred schools. I am also happy to work with parents to help tailor my approach to suit their goals for their child.
