"Hello!

My name is Noah, and I am excited to be your tutor! I understand how incredibly stressful school and exams can be (they certainly were for me), so I want to use my experience getting through tough academic hurdles to help you get through them, too. I hope to not only help you ace your exams, but also find fun in learning (yes, learning can be fun, I promise).

A little bit about me: I graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a degree in chemical physics and am currently a second year medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine. I have about 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience as a teaching assistant during college, where I tutored freshman/sophomore college students general chemistry and organic chemistry. Besides teaching general and organic chemistry, I also have extensive standardized testing experience (SAT: 1570, MCAT: 523) and often tutor friends and family to help them get their dream scores, too.

When teaching, I love to use a personalized approach. Every student is different, and I strive to tailor the way I teach based on a student's own unique strengths and weaknesses . For example, before teaching a new concept or topic, I like to first probe a student's existing knowledge and address any weaknesses in more foundational topics, making learning more advanced topics much easier for the student.

Besides academics, I want to act as a big brother who you can look towards for life advice, too. I have found that in order to thrive as a student, there are other areas in life that needs our attention as well. For example, things like balancing extracurriculars, finding time for hobbies, dealing with family/personal issues with important exams coming up, improving mental health, etc. are challenges that can impact us as students, and I hope to use my personal experiences to help you navigate through these challenges, too.

I hope to meet and work with you soon!" less...
