I graduated Summa Cum Laude as part of the prestigious Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars program, regarded as one of the most competitive BS/MD programs in the nation. At Baylor College of Medicine, I graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors and Distinctions in Foundational Sciences, Ethics, Medical Education, and Service Learning, as well as a Diploma in Tropical Medicine. I am currently a Dermatology resident physician at a nationally ranked Top 10 Dermatology program. I also serve as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Kinesiology at Rice University.

I have been teaching and tutoring for 14 years. I am passionate about helping students traverse the stressful environment of applications, pre-clinical courses, clinical rotations, away rotations, and residency applications and interviews. I have served on admissions committees for medical school and residencies, and have advised several students prior to joining the Wyzant platform. I understand the rigors of medical school and residency applications having recently gone through the process and interviewing at 15+ dermatology programs, several in the top 10 nationally. I also specialize in research advising, having successfully published over 50 peer-reviewed articles.
