"Hello Students: My background has been in Accounting [BSBA] as I worked 4 years as an Accountant for a large corporation and a state university. I also have 33 years' experience as an Financial Auditor and cost recovery consultant for property and casualty insurance companies . I recently obtained my MBA IN 2005 in project management and I became Six Sigma Black Belt Certified in 2008. Six Sigma is a management initiative involving business intelligence, process and quality improvement techniques, statistical analysis, design prototypes, measurement and analysis using graphs and charts. I have been using computers in my work on a daily basis for 25 years.I have set up reading workshops while in the Army assisting soldiers with poor reading comprehension skills with their learning. I also worked in a library while attending college where I would assist people with learning disabilities with reading and writing. I belong to the Great Books Foundation Discussion Group where we have an adult discussion group several times a month discussing the Great Ideas and books of classical authors. When I am not working in business, my favorite activity is reading, writing and internet research. My favorite reading subjects are intellectual history, philosophical inquiry, imaginative literature, business, American classics, poetry and prose, self improvement, lives of great men, public policy, ancient Greek and Roman and modern history, religion, documentaries, economics, philosophy, quality control,political science, current events,short stories and mostly non fiction.

I would like to begin with a one on one tutoring session with the tutee in a public library or restaurant if that is applicable. In my tutoring I will be thorough and concise addressing the primary concerns the tutee is having difficulty with in an effective and efficient manner.
