"I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and have spent the past nine years teaching a wide range of subjects including Business Management, Marketing, Economics, Personal Finance, Algebra 1, Algebra Functions and Data Analysis, and Computer Science. I’ve taught students in grades 6 through 12 in both classroom and one-on-one settings, with four of those years in a virtual learning environment. I also have two years of dedicated tutoring experience in Algebra Functions and Data Analysis. My instructional style is hands-on and focused on real-world applications, helping students connect abstract concepts to everyday situations.

Throughout my teaching career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students from a variety of backgrounds and education levels. This experience has strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to meet individual needs and learning styles, whether a student needs extra support or is ready for enrichment. In addition to my academic teaching, I serve as a high school football coach, which has helped me develop strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills. I bring these qualities into my tutoring sessions, working to build trust and encourage students to stay engaged and persistent in their learning.

Above all, I emphasize a growth mindset. I encourage students not to be afraid of failure, but to see it as part of the learning process. Through guided problem-solving and consistent support, we work together to understand the material and build confidence.
