"Hi, I’m Steve! I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication at San Jose State University in California and then moved to Arizona where I completed doctoral coursework in Communication and Educational Psychology. I began teaching at the college level while pursuing my master’s degree and have since taught at multiple community colleges, universities, and high schools. After a two-year tenure as the Dean of Enrollment Planning at Grand Canyon University, I continued teaching part-time, and pursued a full-time career in marketing and sales.

In addition to teaching in classrooms and online, I have tutored, managed successful sales teams, served as an at-work mentor, presented at professional conferences, been interviewed on podcasts, contributed to business articles, and hosted online webinars. My areas of specialization include public speaking, essay writing, and resume / interview preparation.
