"The beginning of my academic journey started at my local community college where I was proudly involved in esteemed academic honors programs. I later successfully transferred to U.C. Berkeley (go bears!) where I pursued dual bachelor's degrees in Public Health and Psychology, graduating with honors. Finally, I am a recent graduate of Yale University (boola boola) and earned my Master of Public Health degree as a Hortsmann Scholar.

Having mastered the transfer experience and successfully navigating my undergraduate and graduate programs, I am passionate about helping students to actualize their goals by providing admissions essay consultation services. The personal statement is one of the most important aspects of the college application (especially for the common app and UC system). I have worked with a wide variety of students on their personal statement who have been accepted and successfully matriculated to competitive 4 year undergraduate and graduate programs - dentistry, speech and language pathology, undergraduates political science/biology/humanities, medical and more. I have also served a graduate teaching fellowship and worked with Yale graduate students to develop their brainstorming, outlining, organization, revising and drafting skills. My passion for writing has led to the acceptance of my work in Murmurs, the Yale School of Medicine's health professional creative journal.

I have been in your shoes. I’ve stepped in and out of local small public magnet high schools, big community colleges, huge public university campuses, and private Ivy League classrooms.
