"My name is Daniel and I am a first-year student at Yale University studying Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. I originally began tutoring my younger brother in high school in subjects like algebra, precalculus, and calculus, and became a high-school mentor to help tutor underclassmen in academic subjects as well. At Yale, I've continued my tutoring experiences by joining the Yale Education Tutoring Initiative, where I tutor high-school students weekly in calculus and SAT preparation. Although my tutoring in high school was mostly in-person, I've shifted to Zoom sessions with Yale for more accessibility to reach more students easily.

During high school, I took both AP Calculus AB and BC (scored 5 on exams), and have taken Calculus II in my freshman year of college. As a result, I have a lot of experience in learning calculus from a multitude of different teachers and styles of application, which has helped me immensely in coming up with my own approach of teaching calculus.
