"Above all, I relish the process of developing rapport with kids and adults. My philosophy on teaching and advocacy is that a team approach gives the student or client the best chance of achieving their goals and being an active participant in their community.

I've been employed in the developmental disabilities field off and on since the mid-1990s, initially as a Special Education paraprofessional and later as a direct care worker for children and adults with autism. I've also been employed as a family and adult case manager for a total of 14 years.

Currently, I'm part of a team that provides round-the-clock care in the home to a 16 year old with autism. During the winter months, I'm employed as a Warming Center Coordinator, supporting our local adult homeless population.

I also wear the hat of Professional Photographer. I've had my photography business, Tedlow Photography, since early 2021. I'm very proud of my accomplishments in the three plus years that I've been its owner and sole proprietor." less...
