"I'm Pradeep! I'm currently a scientist with an undergraduate degree from Caltech (GPA – 3.7), a Ph.D. from Northwestern University, and postdoctoral experience from Harvard University. I hold a teaching certificate from Northwestern and have over two years of experience teaching various science courses in classroom settings to elementary, high school, and college students. From leading basic science experiments with third graders, to serving as a teaching assistant for college organic chemistry, to even designing my own short chemistry course for high school students, I have extensive experience explaining complex topics to students of all ages.

My tutoring style is all about meeting students where they are, building on their strengths, and steadily improving on their weaknesses with patience and encouragement. Leveraging my experience developing focused lesson plans in high school and college, I approach every student by first defining their goals, understanding relevant deadlines or exam dates, then crafting a personalized schedule for improvement. While I have significant experience in teaching general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biology, I am also proficient in SAT test prep and associated test-taking strategies, having scored in the 99th percentile (800 – Math, 760 – Verbal).
