"Finding a job, internship, or graduate program is a completely different challenge than studying for an exam, and it’s one many students are never formally taught how to navigate. As a first-generation college graduate, I entered the professional world without guidance and learned through trial, error, and persistence. That experience ultimately shaped my career and my approach to tutoring. After securing my first professional role, I was invited to help lead recruiting efforts, which placed me on the other side of the hiring table.
I am an engineering graduate with an MBA. I was awarded "Most Outstanding Senior" from my undergrad and I graduated near the top of my class in my MBA at a highly respected school. For over 15 years of my career, I worked directly with students and early-career professionals in recruiting and hiring environments. I hosted career fairs, reviewed thousands of résumés, interviewed hundreds of candidates, and helped make final hiring decisions. This experience gave me a clear understanding of how employers evaluate candidates and what truly differentiates one applicant from another. Alongside my professional work, I have provided one-on-one coaching to high school students, college students, and recent graduates as they prepared résumés, interviews, and networking conversations.
My tutoring style is practical, encouraging, and highly individualized. Many students believe they “have nothing to put on a résumé,” when in reality they haven’t been taught how to recognize or articulate their experiences. I help students uncover their strengths, tell their stories clearly, and build confidence in professional settings. My goal is not just to help students succeed in their next application or interview, but to give them skills they can use throughout their careers." less...
