First and foremost, I am a father, husband, and family man based in the Washington, DC area with our loving Newfoundland dog.

10+ years as a licensed teacher (in the USA and 3 foreign countries) coupled with a masters degree, reading specialist designation, and a lifelong love of learning will assist your child to reach their full potential in reading, writing and math via a 100% student centered approach.

My rate not only includes the hour of instruction, but also all prep time prior to the lesson, a debrief via email with parents, and any contact with your child's teacher to assist in reaching our mutual academic objectives.

All ages Spanish instruction is also my forte, taught through a relaxed approach that will guarantee you speaking Spanish in the first session!
